Overview

MonsterSuit came to BlockLabz with a bold concept — a 5,000-piece generative NFT collection with layered character traits and an exclusive pre-launch waitlist community. We built everything from the smart contract to the minting frontend, and the collection sold out in under four hours on public launch day.

The Challenge

The project needed more than just an NFT contract. The team wanted a full launch ecosystem: a waitlist landing page to build hype before reveal, a whitelist minting phase for early supporters, a public mint with bot protection, and a reveal mechanic that kept the metadata hidden until a set date.

What We Built

  • ERC-721A smart contract: Gas-optimized batch minting, configurable phases (whitelist → public), and a reveal toggle for delayed metadata
  • Waitlist platform: Landing page with email capture and wallet connection, feeding a Merkle tree for whitelist eligibility
  • Minting dApp: Phase-aware mint UI — whitelist phase shows allocation and proof verification; public phase shows live supply counter
  • Metadata pipeline: 5,000 unique assets generated and pinned to IPFS via Pinata, with on-chain provenance hash
  • Admin dashboard: Owner controls for phase transitions, reveal toggle, and withdrawal

Results

The waitlist attracted over 12,000 signups before launch. Whitelist minted out in the first 30 minutes; the remaining public supply cleared in under four hours. Zero contract exploits or bot incidents reported.
